Abandoned power transformer station

This is an abandoned military power transformer station just north of Stockholm. A left over from the cold war era.

This was a backup electrical transformer station where backup generators could be driven in by train and used to supply electricity to the railroad networks in case the power plants had been bombed.

There are around fifty of these spread out over Sweden. As far as I know most of them, if not all, are abandoned.

Two identical tunnels are connected by this smaller tunnel.
