I stopped by this old abandoned mental hospital on the way back from a climbing trip in Norway.

It was once a rather magestic building.

But it has long been abandoned and left to it's fate.
|
The decay is clearly visible on the exterior...

As well as the interior.
|
The staircases were creaky, but they held.
|
Considering the dark history of this place I'd guess there is a lot of anxiety buried in these walls...

I don't think it was a very charming place when it was active.
|
Plenty of wierd colors chosen for the paint...
|
But it's all peeling off now.
|
The doors where swaying and creaking in the wind.
|
The building is falling apart.
|
It will probably be torn down eventually.
|
I can't help but wonder about the people that have been moved around in this chair.
|
I think this place housed a lot of tormented souls... I hope they have found peace now.
